  • Creating and managing your WorkUgo account
  • Matching candidates with employers
  • Supporting immigration processes with RCICs
  • Verifying identity and credentials
  • Improving platform safety and user experience
  • Communicating service updates and operational notices
  • Preventing fraud, misuse, or security threats
  • Complying with immigration, employment, and regulatory obligations
  • Processing payments through secure third-party providers (we do not store full payment card details)

We do not sell personal information.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

A. Employers

To enable job matching and hiring processes:

  • CVs, work history, skills, documents
  • Communications within the platform
  • Immigration progress (where applicable)

B. RCICs (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants) & Licensed Lawyers

To facilitate immigration applications:

  • Immigration documents
  • Credentialing and supporting materials

RCICs act as independent data controllers, responsible for their own compliance.

C. Service Providers

Including:

  • Hosting and cloud services
  • Identity verification

Immigration agencies, police, courts, or regulators.

E. Corporate Transactions

  • Employer accounts: For duration of contract + legal retention periods

When no longer required, information is deleted or anonymized.

8. MINORS DATA

Our Services are not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, it will be deleted promptly.
